Along with cash donations, we have supplied the Doherty Institute with face masks for their workers working from home or commuting to and from the Institute as staff are required to wear medical-grade masks while on-site.

The Doherty Institute is at the forefront of the global response to COVID-19 and works on all aspects of infection and immunity through research, education and public health. Their mission is to improve health globally through discovery research and the prevention, treatment and cure of infectious diseases.

We chose this charity as a result of many Australian’s needing mental and emotional health support during the Australian bushfire crisis earlier this year.

As a Proud Australian brand, we jumped at the chance to donate our expertise and time in order to make a difference to the lives of so many girls and women around the world. The Fella Hamilton team is involved in the not-for-profit charity Days for Girls (DFG) by machine cutting the PUL fabric used in the making of menstrual hygiene kits.

Starting in 2008 as a small yet passionate volunteer-run organisation, DFG provides hygiene solutions to women and girls around the world to break the cycle of poverty and live lives of dignity. DFG now has a robust network of more than 70,000 volunteers around the globe. Today, DFG has reached more than 2.1 million women and girls in 144+ countries with DFG Kits and menstrual health education.
